Recruit a community

The developer describes rescuing and convincing survivors to join you. Recruits have unique abilities and can be trained, strengthened and equipped. Ability pools, dialogue choices and training costs have not been verified.

Worker

Workers are described as handling labor, looting, farming, cooking and building. Farming is also in the Planned Features list, so do not assume every task is available at launch.

Guard

Guards defend your gate against zombies and rival survivors, potentially at the cost of their lives. Guard ranges, AI rules and ideal gear are not established in the reviewed text.

Companion

Companions travel with you, fight beside you, gather loot and return home. The official text emphasizes equipment but provides no reliable loadout statistics.

Roles can change

A companion can become a guardian and roles can change with your needs. Costs or restrictions on reassignment still need release confirmation.

Death and morale

The developer says dead survivors do not return. Falling morale may cause rebellion, departure or theft from unlocked storage. Editorial suggestion: review the released condition and equipment information before a risky trip. No numeric morale threshold is supplied.

A note on updates

Walkers may change over time. Check current game updates and tooltips before relying on version-sensitive advice.
